About Me

My name is Matt Hines. I've been tattooing professionally for 12 years. Not only just in San Diego, but I've been fortunate to take my career outside of the country and tattoo in places like Costa Rica and Bali. I love what I do and everything that my career brings, from traveling to meeting new clients, that eventually become good friends.

I pride myself on using nothing but top of the line high quality tattoo equipment, inks and accessories. All U.S certified and vegan friendly.

I try to stay versatile in my tattooing styles, I like to think I can do a little bit of everything. I've always kept a very open mind when it comes to clients and their unique ideas. And with every consultation we are able to build off of each others’ creative ideas and come up with a customized piece of art for that specific client. No matter what the size, big or small, all tattoo are cool! Getting a tattoo is supposed to be exciting, have fun.

My tattoo styles range from bold bright colorful, fine line black and grey, Mico/single needle, American tradition, portraits, Japanese. Always staying versatile, to insure I'm giving my clients the best tattoo possible. And always important, make sure you have a good experience.
